Meet Erica

Erica is the artist and practitioner of Ocean Eyes Studio in San Clemente, where her passion for body art and holistic wellness converge. With over 14 years of experience as a Licensed Esthetician, Erica has honed her skills in Skin & Body Treatments, helping clients achieve health and wellness beyond the skin. Her knowledge of well-being extends beyond traditional aesthetics into Holistic modalities, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Body and Facial Cupping. She has been a 500 hr.Yoga Instructor since 2012, guiding others in their physical and mental health through mindful breath and movement.

As an attuned Reiki Master for nearly a decade, Erica integrates energy healing into her practice, fostering a balanced environment for both the physical and energetic body. Her diverse background informs her approach, making each service personalized to the individual.

Erica's journey into tattoo artistry began in 2018, rooted in what she calls her “first love” and original passion, being art and self-expression. Starting as a self-taught Tattoo artist, she dedicated countless hours to honing her skills, experimenting with different techniques and styles. Her continued commitment to mastery led her to work in a local Studio in 2023, seeking mentorship and artistic growth. She continues to study and learn from multiple renowned artists locally and across the globe.

Under their guidance, Erica refined her craft in black and grey, fine line, illustrative, and ornamental tattoos. Each experience enriched her knowledge and brought new perspectives, allowing her to develop a unique artistic voice. Today, Erica combines her extensive training with her original self-taught foundation, creating bespoke designs that resonate with clients and celebrate the artistry of tattooing and individuality.

Erica holds several job titles in her professional life, but her favorite is undeniably "Mom" to her almost 10-year-old daughter, Avery, and two boy cat’s, Binx and Boba. She is happiest in the mountains of Mammoth, Ca, enjoying local beaches, and spending time with friends and family.
